Birthday Favors

It's always especially fun when I'm making cookies for someone I know, and I was so happy to be asked by a good friend from college to make birthday favors for her niece.  My friend and her sister-in-law (the birthday girl's mom!) decided on airplanes, butterflies, and some 5s.  I had fun picking out the colors and doing these cookies -- here's what I came up with!

Happy, happy birthday, Sasha!

A Pair Of Baby Showers

A friend from work had baby showers on back-to-back weekends, and asked me about doing cookies for each.

First up, a baby boy.  Loved the hosts' ideas of embellishment on the onesies -- baseballs, footballs, wagons, and sailboats.  Simple and cute, my favorite kind of cookies to do:

Next, favors for a girly baby shower.  I used the same design as these cookies:

The girly shower was out of town, so I packaged them as favors and packed them in bubble wrap for the plane ride.

Welcome, new little ones.  :)

Happy Valentine's Day!

I had fun doing a few different Valentine treats this year...an overly commercialized holiday is definitely a good excuse to eat cookies.

Thanks to the fabulous tutorial of SweetSugarBelle -- featured here on The Celebration Shoppe's blog, I made these fun Valentine robot cookies.  The tutorial made it SO easy.  These are some of my all-time favorites.

Happy Valentine's Day, everyone!

Jungle Birthday Cookies

Through some word of mouth, and a friend of a friend, I had fun working on a set of cookies for a neighborhood boy's second birthday party.

My inspiration was from the set of Wilton cutters I used, and I loved the way they turned out!
