Baby Shower

Rounding out a busy week of cookies was this set of onesies, ducks, and baby bottles for a baby shower.

I loved the hostess' choice of gray and yellow for the onesies (I did them like these onesies):

Happy Shower!

Happy Birthday, Scotty!

What else is a big sister to do...other than embarrass her brother with a birthday post.  :)

Happy (golden) Birthday, Scotty!  See you soon!

A Pair Of Wedding Showers

I had some brightly-colored cookie favors to do for two different wedding showers this week.

First up, some wedding cakes and gowns with bright trim and initials:

For the other shower, I used the names of the bride and groom and colors to match the shower theme and invitations:

Fun to do, and I loved how well the colors photographed.

NYC Housewarming Party

I loved doing these surprise cookies for a couple who just moved back to New York and were hosting a housewarming/St. Patrick's Day/anniversary/birthday party.  Such a fun assortment of cookies.

I started with some NYC-themed cookies:

We decided that the houses I've done in the past aren't quite appropriate for NYC, so I did some apartment doors:

I did cookies with the couple's initials, and some cupcakes.  I also added in a few shamrocks.

 Happy celebrating!

Another New Baby

So happy to welcome another new baby this week!  A few boy-themed onesies for the occasion:

His mom is a good college friend and one of Cookie District's biggest fans.  :)  So happy for the whole family.

Make Way For Ducklings

Make Way For Ducklings (by Robert McCloskey) was one of my all-time favorites growing up, so I was looking forward to working on cookies for a baby shower with that theme.

As I was looking around for some mama and baby duckling inspiration, I found the gorgeous cookies (and pictures!) done by Michele of i-heart-baking.  Take a look at her lovely work here.  She was so nice to let me post these pictures of cookies using her design.
